    Description

    Antique BISCUIT JAR Mt. Washington Burmese Art Glass M.W. 4419-3912/80. Very nice condition with no cracks, scratches or chips. Lid has crease on rim underneath (see photo) not sure if this was intentional for fit. Does not affect the fit. This rare jar was known to be a favorite of Queen Victoria. Glass is a cream colored Burmese satin finish with raised gold patternation. Image depicts two Victorian children blowing bubbles. Lid is stamped “MW 4419” and base is stamped 3912/80. Measures 5.5” to top or 9” to top of swing handle. Circa 1890’s. Shipped insured with USPS Priority Mail.
