Australian WWII machetes/smatchetes have
Hm’ed
blades. They are New Old Stock.
Australian WWII jungle smatchetes/machetes have 3 rivet checkered dark brown composition grips. They are 20 1/2" overall length with 3" x 14 1/2" meat cleaver shaped blades and are mint with 99% mat blue/black finish. I found a few more in a bucket with the remnants of a “D (broad arrow) D/1944” stamping still partially visible

All are in new unissued condition. There are
no scabbards
