Description

Here is a rare item of WWII:  an Australian Woman's Army Service (AWAS) trench art piece, consisting of an American artillery shell with AWAS insignia and two .45 caliber bullets.  This is a 37mm shell, with the entire artwork nickel-plated.
Condition is excellent.
