Selected woodcuts by Un-Ichi Hiratsuka

Description

This is a rare 1954 book containing the lithographs of woodcuts by Un-Ichi Hiratsuka with the original dust jacket.  The rare book contains over 30 lithographic plats (23 black and white, seven color by the renowned sosaku hanga artist.)   English and Japanese text.   The size of the book is 14.25" x 10.5". The lithographs are in excellent condition and the book is signed on the back by the artist. Hiratsuka Un-Ichi (1895 - 1997).   Publisher is Nippon Geijvutsu Hangasha.    The very last picture is the outside cover of the back of this book.
