WW2 era Australian DIGGER'S Slouch Hat AUSTRALIA Campaign Hat 'HAT, Fur, Felt'

WW2 era Aussie "Digger's" iconic SLOUCH HAT or AKA "Hat, Fur, Felt" as they are made out of hammered Rabbit fur
The COLOUR ('color') of the rivets are those USED in WW2
Usually you could tell the hat's age by a potential date stamped to the back of the sweat-band (missing sadly) or on the inside reverse of the Puggaree (External multi-fold cap band) also sadly absent
SIZE = Small size
(not marked on either Puggaree, or sweatband as both are absent)
GUESSTIMATE of the SIZE = Metric 56 or 57 (USA size  7 or 7 1/8) OR UK size 6 7/8 or 7
I take a metric size 59 myself and I cannot put this on properly as it is ABOUT two sizes too-small for me
Were there a sweatband present? that may reduce the size to the smaller estimate
