Up for your consideration, is a
Vintage WWII Sweetheart Bracelet w/ Australian Silver Coins Engraved ANN HERB.  It is hammered so the upper side is smooth. 4 of the coins are dated 1943; they are sixpence, shilling, threepence, and others I cannot identify. Theoretically, it could be reversed, if the coin motif is preferred.  The bracelet is 7" long x 1" wide in the center.  The clasp is unusual.  It weighs 30.3 grams.  The coins of this period are usually 92.5% silver
These type of bracelets were made by soliders when there was time between battles and particularly by the Australian soldiers in New Guinea. They were sweetheart bracelet for your girlfriend, fiance or wife.
